By booking and attending lessons with Drive With Meaning, you agree to all sections of this Agreement.

Please read carefully before booking.

LEARNER DRIVER – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of driving instruction services by Drive With Meaning to the student. By booking lessons with us, you agree to comply with these Terms.

In order to have driving lessons, you must:

*         Be aged 17 or older (16 or over if disabled)

*         You must be medically fit to drive and declare any medical conditions that may affect your driving.

*         Hold a driving licence that is valid for the UK (provisional, full or an appropriate foreign licence)

It is your responsibility to provide your instructor with proof that you have a valid licence to drive before the commencement of your first driving lesson.  If you fail to provide this proof, your instructor is entitled to refuse to conduct the driving lesson, but may still charge you for such driving lesson.

You must behave respectfully and follow the instructor’s guidance at all times.

If you are suspected of being under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substances that impair driving, the lesson will be terminated, and the full fee will apply.

Mobile phones must be switched off or set to silent during lessons.

While we will use our professional skills to prepare you for your driving test, we cannot guarantee that you will pass the test or achieve any specific outcome.

PAYING FOR LESSONS

Lessons must be booked in advance. Bookings are confirmed once payment is received or as otherwise agreed in writing.

Payment methods accepted: [e.g., cash, bank transfer, card payment].

Lesson prices are as advertised and may be subject to change with prior notice.

CANCELLATION POLICY

You must give at least 48 hours’ notice to your instructor if you wish to cancel or rearrange a booked driving lesson. Failure to do so may result in your instructor charging you the full amount for that driving lesson.

In the event we need to cancel or reschedule, we will give as much notice as reasonably possible and offer an alternative slot.

REFUND POLICY

Student Cancellations:

You must give at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson without penalty.

Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full and are non-refundable.

Instructor Cancellations:

If we cancel a lesson for any reason, you will be offered an alternative date/time or a full refund for the affected lesson.

Refunds are available only under the following conditions:

Lessons or packages have been paid for in advance and not yet taken.

You request a refund within 14 days of purchase (unless lessons have already begun).

A medical or personal emergency prevents you from continuing lessons (proof may be required).

The following are non-refundable:

Lessons already taken.

Short-notice cancellations (less than 48 hours).

DVSA driving test fees once booked (set by the DVSA, not by us).

Lesson packages

If you purchase a block of lessons and request a refund before completing the package, the refund will be prorated at the standard single-lesson rate, not the discounted package rate.

Any lessons already taken will be deducted from the refund total.

All refunds will be issued using the original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

We cannot issue cash refunds for card or online payments.

Disputes

If you are unhappy with a lesson, please raise the matter within 24 hours so we can address it promptly. Disputes made after this period may not be eligible for consideration.

TEST BOOKINGS

We can assist with booking driving tests, but you are responsible for paying all DVSA test fees.

We reserve the right to refuse the use of our vehicle for a driving test if you are deemed not ready or safe to attempt the test.

OUR VEHICLES

Our tuition vehicles are fully insured for instructional purposes.

CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be available on request and will apply to all future lessons.

CONDUCT DURING LESSONS

You must follow the instructor’s guidance at all times.

Lessons will be terminated if you are suspected to be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication affecting your ability to drive safely.

Mobile phones must be switched off or silent during lessons.

LIABILITY

We will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from your acts or omissions while driving, except where caused by our negligence.

You are legally responsible for any motoring offences committed during a lesson or driving test.

LEGAL DISCLAIMER

Driving lessons are provided to teach safe and lawful driving skills, but no guarantee is given that you will pass your driving test.

You are responsible for complying with all road laws during lessons and tests.

Any fines, penalties, or legal consequences incurred as a result of your driving are your responsibility.

You must ensure you are physically and mentally fit to drive. Lessons will be refused if there is suspicion of alcohol, drugs, or impairing medication.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss, damage, injury, or expense arising from lessons, except where caused by proven negligence.
